Services & Fees

Session Duration & Investment

Standard sessions run for 50 minutes, allowing 10 minutes of administration and note taking time at the end of your session.

The fee for a standard Medicare, NDIS or privately funded session is $220.

You can pay via cash, direct debit or eftpos. There are no additional fees to pay via eftpos at the end of your session.

If you have a mental health care plan, your Medicare rebate will be processed for you on after payment is made, and your refund should appear in your nominated bank account within 1-2 business days.

Under the Medicare scheme, if you have a mental health care plan from your GP, you are eligible for 6 individual psychology sessions. After a review by your referring GP, you may be eligible for a further 4 sessions. A total of 10 sessions are granted per calendar year (January - December)

Therapeutic modality

My practice model preference is to offer regular and consistent appointment times, which can be weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. This is to ensure that each client feels that they have a safe and secure space for their psychology support. Often clients will start with a regular time, then transition to less frequency, or transition to casual/sporadic sessions. This is discussed in the initial intake, and we will make a plan together that best suits your needs.

I enjoy supporting people with a range of presentations including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, eating disorders, substance use, school-related difficulties and trauma. I am trained and competent in providing a range of cognitive behaviour based therapies, however I enjoy providing holistic and somatic based therapies. I am trained in Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I am also trained and competent in providing a range of psychological assessments, allowing people to explore how their brains work, providing a nurturing and empowering space for growth. See further details in Assessments

I am currently undergoing training to become a board approved supervisor and hope to be able to provide supervision services from July 2026.

Rebates

Medicare

The current Medicare rebate for General Psychology is $98.97 (out of pocket expense of $121.03). Once you use your Medicare sessions for the year (6 -10 sessions) the out-of-pocket fee will increase to the full session fee.

Private Health Insurance

If you have used your Medicare funding for the year, you may be eligible to claim a rebate using your private health extras cover. Please contact your health insurer directly to find out if you are eligible for this. You will need to process this claim independently. I will provide you with the appropriate invoice to use for your claim.

NDIS

I support plan and self-managed NDIS participants. The NDIS maximum rate for a psychologist is $232.99 per hour. My fee is $220, so there are no out of pocket expenses for NDIS participants.
