About CJH Psychology
My name is Cassandra Julieanne Hose – I am the director of CJH Psychology and a registered psychologist, but you can call me Cassie.
I developed CJH Psychology from a desire to create a meaningful, adaptable and caring support for people. When trying to decide on the name of my business and my future practice, I explored many different aspects of my life, my values and the experiences that led me to becoming a psychologist. Eventually I decided on the name CJH Psychology – CJH representing my initials and representing my desire to be authentic and personable. A name is something important, that is often chosen with a lot of thought and at times can be linked to stories or people who came before you.
My goals as a psychologist are to provide person centred, trauma informed care to my clients. I currently support clients from 5 years and above, practising across two locations. I began my early career in the social sector, working with children in out-of-home care, which instilled my passion for being able to provide adaptable mental health care, meeting people where they are at, and trying to break down the barriers of accessing mental health support.

“Profound psychological healing often comes not from clinical techniques, diagnoses, or “fixing” the client. Healing happens through presence - when someone can stay with us in our pain.”
